Convert your prim buildings to mesh

I shared this almost a week ago but a lot of ppl still havent heard about it so i share it here too. Suburbia in Cloud Party

Suburbia – the Purgatory, “ye who enters here abandon all hope” has entered the building competition in Cloud Party. I asked the major, ms Kranfel, to clean up before entering and stop smoking. But she didnt listen much …. she never does, does she? So I have no hope but it was fun as long as it lasted.

It´s extremely easy to build with blocks. This little neighborhood with 4 houses is built in 1 piece only. Though the junk and clutter are not included (thank god). You can experience it live here: https://a.cloudparty.com/went/SCTCth73t#sthash.CWXevuGc.dpuf

So i can just take it into my inventory and re rezz it whenever i feel like it again. Next step planned from Cloud Party may be a feature where we can print it and also export it from Cloud Party… some little bird whispered…. ;)

I can only agree in what Phate Sheperd said recently; “I can’t keep thinking what a stroke of genius this was. The one thing that anyone in SL could do (usually badly) was build a home. It was easy to mod them, move doors around and put wallpaper on the walls. I never thought something even better would be in Cloud Party.

With voxel buildings, anyone can mod them. My OCD loves that all the walls will be aligned and uniform. You never have to worry about wallpaper alignment… it just works. Wall moulding can be changed separate of the wall texture. Normal mapped moulding looks very convincing ;-)

Mesh trim makers can make windows and door frames that will fit into any voxel house. Kitchen appliances and bathroom fittings just need to build on .25 meter increments, and it will all fit nicely into a voxel house….”

Building competition in Cloud Party!

I almost cried first time i saw the new building menu in Cloud Party. Cried of despair cos my first attempt to finnish this new goal and build a stair was a facepalm moment. And i had to finish the stair to be able to get my new parcel. 2 days later i love this new building technique, it is totally brilliant!!!!! Far far better than building in Second Life. It is sort of a mixture between Minecraft and Second Life prim building. Its totally fun and i have found inspiration to build in virtual worlds again thanks to this <3

And now they have just started a building competition. Build a house with blocks and the winner gets 1000 CC! wowsa! I have started to build my house, but only for my own sake. I wouldnt dare enter any competition lol lol :D
