Strawberry Singhs present meme is a Halloween meme and I think i have got just what it takes. So this is me in my halloween outfit with my bestest halloweeniest friend Wizard Gynoid who has given me this lovely hair by Discord Designs. I also got her own creation, the PinFace as a gift. This is very much me isnt it? :):) As im European I havent celebrated halloween much so I have a hard time answer all those halloween questions but here we go (short!)
Did you go trick or treating as a child? -No
What was the best Halloween costume you ever saw or wore yourself? -Never had 1 IRL only virtual. Best I saw was a mask of a scary person in my country. That was sort of hilarious.. but hard to explain here :):)
What is your most vivid memory about Halloween? -My kids dressing up looking horrid
What is the scariest movie you have ever seen? -Im ashamed to confess im a chicken and dare not see any :O)
Do you ever get nightmares after watching a scary movie? -Often, even tho i actually never see scary movies. But im easily scared so its enough for me to see “Midsomer Murders” to get nightmares :}
Are you superstitious? If so, name at least one superstition of yours. -I dont like black cats running across my road
What will you be doing for Halloween this year, if anything, in SL and RL? -Spend time with my kids and working with my home (in the middle of rebuilding it). I have a few days off work *yay* i hope…

“….This is exactly what Marketplace was built and designed for. To parse millions of things and allow people to sell one item of interest. The most important content deemed “worth” selling is already parsed and categorized thanks to you, the community. Making a copy of Marketplace as a system and repurposing it as an Indie Developer content service for Desura would entail flipping a couple of content permission switches and readjusting the percentages in favor of Linden Lab.
As seen with recent viewers, it’s perfectly feasible to export content as a Collada model and even with the textures – so long as you have full permissions on the item. But then, who controls the master switch for content permissions, eh?
This puts Linden Lab squarely in the realm of the biggest Copy-Botter outfit in Second Life.” ~ Will Burns – Andromeda Media Group

Im thrilled to tell you that my dear friend Michael Cunnighams stable, (Pic: from left, jockey Aquadoc, co owner Starra and Michael with the Thoroughbred CF Flash Gordon) won the ABC Horses summer Crown Cup 2013!
The purse was 250.000 Linden dollar
From ABC horses blog:
“Cunnigham Farm has an outstanding reputation in the community for their race horses. When asked on how they feel on their win, Starra commented “We are very proud that all our hard work has been rewarded by winning the cup with the excellent jockey skills of aqua and our other jockeys who have helped us to achieve such great results”

“From 6 September 2013 you are no longer permitted to add our images to Second Life or other Linden Labs products. The use of textures downloaded prior to this date is allowed.” Read on:

“Let the sky fall” – It doesnt matter. I felt like that before all this happened. Safe. And now? Dressed in black, is Alessia Kranfel aka Mera, only an avatar in a game (Second Life)? Is missing a, mostly, “virtual” friend of less value than missing a friend in “real” life?
“… who we are in “real life” is who we are online. If we have superficial relationships in which we don’t invest time and attention in the flesh, we will have superficial relationships online. If we care to invest in deep and lasting friendships and community, we will find them both in the flesh and online.”

We also need some kind of closure when we lose someone, when the sky has fallen down upon us. Otherwise its easy to get stuck in the dark. I guess that is a human flaw. We need rituals to handle major changes in life.
Ya.. a bloody half a face again, sorry. Only my most trusted friends get the “whole Mera” without even asking. What ever they want her or not <3
You may have my number,
you can take my name,
But you’ll never have my heart ~
