What is left

The world looks different today than it did some months ago. It has changed somehow. I cant point out exactly how, maybee the colour of they sky? Or maybee the birds sings a different tune…and the pizza tastes peculiar. The difference is small, but significant.

Soon this year will come to an end and 6 months has gone by since that unthinkable day in july and I cant do a rollback and restore with backup. I cant say goodbye either, the moment is forever gone.

The Halloween Meme

 

Strawberry Singhs present meme is a Halloween meme and I think i have got just what it takes. So this is me in my halloween outfit with my bestest halloweeniest friend Wizard Gynoid who has given me this lovely hair by Discord Designs. I also got her own creation, the PinFace as a gift. This is very much me isnt it? :):) As im European I havent celebrated halloween much so I have a hard time answer all those halloween questions but here we go (short!)

Did you go trick or treating as a child? -No
What was the best Halloween costume you ever saw or wore yourself? -Never had 1 IRL only virtual. Best I saw was a mask of a scary person in my country. That was sort of hilarious.. but hard to explain here :):)
What is your most vivid memory about Halloween? -My kids dressing up looking horrid
What is the scariest movie you have ever seen? -Im ashamed to confess im a chicken and dare not see any  :O)
Do you ever get nightmares after watching a scary movie? -Often, even tho i actually never see scary movies. But im easily scared so its enough for me to see “Midsomer Murders” to get nightmares :}
Are you superstitious? If so, name at least one superstition of yours. -I dont like black cats running across my road
What will you be doing for Halloween this year, if anything, in SL and RL? -Spend time with my kids and working with my home (in the middle of rebuilding it). I have a few days off work *yay* i hope…

This is also the memory place for Sven Idyll. Last week, after almost 2 months, I changed from my black clothes to a white dress and it felt good. But I still miss him and I will always do. But with the kind of friends I have here I will always be ok, its impossible not to be. You know who you are <3  And I have total confidence in this grid. At least as long as Tranquillity and Jim Tarber are grid monkeys. The warmth and kindness I have met here I havent met anywhere else. Not this unconditionally. Even if I starts to grid hop and dont log in for a long period, they always welcome me back with the same affection  :`)  <3

Girl talk

This friday evening my cellphone started buzzing like mad. It was Leanna and Boudica roaming around in Twitter. I threw myself inWorldz and they did too apparently so we met up to have a Meeroo bbq at Sven Idylls memory place. (He would have liked that :) Shortly after Miso joined us.

We sat talking for hours and hours and it was wonderful. Thank you friends, i love you and cherish these moments with you <3

The wonders of OpenSim

I was supposed to work from home this weekend, too much work irl,  but I had to take a break and log in to OsGrid. I have no home in OsGrid so I live in a sandbox. Im rebuilding my RL home so its a mess and my main computer is in a box somewhere.

I felt restless so I decided to Hypergrid jump. Cool grid End of the Metaverse didnt respond (tho i succeeded to enter it later) so i started with Metropolis instead . The receptionist Bertha was asleep, standing sleeping as a horse, when I showed up. Middle of the day…Piles of paper all over the place.  Metropolis seems to have hard conditions for their staff. Iv never heard she have had vacation, ever, poor thing.

Extra special about Metropolis is that it has a web chat function you can use when you cant be logged in to a viewer. I wish all worlds had that. Link: http://chat.hypergrid.org/

I miss my region in OsGrid, maybee its time to start again, some day… tho im not sure I can wake up my old server again. Sven always helped me before, when i got stuck :´( If I get started again I will dedicate a place for him on my region, as it was because of him I discovered the wonders of OpenSim.
